Monday, October 27th is Friends & Family night at the MCPS book fair! All in the community are welcome! Here's some important things to note:

Time: 3:30 - 6:00 (this time is slightly changed due to allowing time for dismissal)

All who come and purchase an item will be entered into a raffle for free books.

Kona Ice will be out front for you to purchase a sweet treat after!

Purple!! Gold!! Lots of purple and gold in the Sandcastle as we celebrate Mrs. Ellington who loves ECU. Also, the book fair is almost ready! Mrs. McCall pops on today for a few updates.

Book Fair shopping begins next week! We always have students who are unable to purchase a book due to lack of funding. We are trying to minimize the number of students who miss out. If you are able and willing to contribute to our "Student In Need" Ewallet, please click below!

The book fair has arrived and is currently being set up! You should receive a flyer and informational letter home sometime this week. Students will come for a book fair preview (no buying) on Friday.

Buying options begin on Monday! Monday night is Friends & Family Night from 3:00-6:00. Kona Ice will be out front selling their delicious treats that evening as well.

Today we have lots of little Mrs. Ellington's around the building! Our school should be super functional today...hope she enjoys all the help. Also, take a peek at Ms. Siebert's class who studied phases of the moon.

We are celebrating Mrs. Ellington this week for Principal's Appreciation Month. There's a lot of pink around the building today because her favorite color is PINK! Tomorrow, students are encouraged to dress like a principal. Also today we have a recap of Fall Festival and the Fire Station field for kindergarten!

We are over half way through the month of October...wow! So far MCPS has raised $130. We need to raise $250 (by Oct. 31st) in order to receive a banner for the recognition.
