We are so blessed to have such a supportive PTO at MCPS! Thank you for all the treats this week. The coffee truck, bagels, soda station, and traditional treats were amazing. So nice to not have to pack lunches today and instead get to enjoy this feast! We love you and appreciate you!

We are so proud of these 9 third graders who won at the local level for the North Carolina Reading Association Young Author's/Artist contest. The work of each of these students will move on to compete at the state level which will be judged later this school year. They will all be celebrated at a local celebration in the spring. We are so proud of your hard work and good luck at the state level!

Make sure you find time on Thursday, December 4th to swing by West Carteret between 5:00-7:00 with the kids! Students from West will be hosting the 4th annual Holiday Fest! It's free entry, but you are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate.
There will be games, crafts, and snacks! All elementary-aged students are welcome to attend!
